Simple and cheap chase a chicken. When you can catch it you've improved your movement. Ever seen Rocky thats the old school way of doing it.

Be careful with talking to colleges this early. I'm surprised a college would have the intel to get to hear from you without you telling them. But this aside, I'm guessing by lateral movement they mean running sideways across the field from side to side. This is an extremely important prospect as a d-linemen to be able to catch the running back or quarterback as they attempt to run away from you. I would work on your reaction time for deciding to run left or right, and then work lengthening your stride by stretching often and running with an over-exaggerated long stride. This long stride will dramatically improve the amount of ground you can cover quickly. Work on this, and I think you sound pretty unstoppable.

Just some stuff 4 sale...spend $ to make $ I guess..

The "Movement Prep" exercises challenge your core to get strong while challenging your joints to open up with more functional mobility. It is important that you work on improving core and mobility daily so you can move better! Movement Prep corrects improper movement patterns--which will then allow you to perform better in the weight room and on the football field. The Movement Prep is designed as an active or "dynamic" warm-up. Doing them "before" you workout prepares you to move better in your other activities.

How do you improve lateral movement. My suggestion is to attend the coach that "scouted" you's summer camp and see what drills they do to improve that aspect of your game according to your position.

If a college coach talked to you be careful, that's illegal and you can be cut down before you even have a chance to play college ball.

All you need is practice. Go watch your basketball team and do what they do, Better yet, PLAY basketball and learn those skills. They'll help later on.

You're a freshman and you've been 'scouted' already by a D1 school? LOL....that's a load of BS
