I have written a 100 page book. Target audience would be young readers. I hope to publish it in Canada or England. I have never done this before and was wondering what a publisher might offer if interested?

First of all you have to find a publisher that would be interested. YOu need to submit your manuscript to several known publishing firms or look for an online firm. just because you wrote a book does not mean it will sell. Takes a lot of work.
Google how to sell and publish a story/novel

expect around 10 cents on the dollar more or less (or 10p on the pound) If a publisher liked it, you might get a 1000 dollar advance against royalties for a small book like that and probably never see another dime. The market is entirely saturated right now with people targeting young readers ever since harry potter came out. Everyone wants to be the next J.K. Rowling so publishers and agents have alot of bad storys to read from would be authors. Also with the retail price of HP book 7 being between 35 and 65 dollars, doesnt leave a whole lot of allowance for kids to buy other childrens books right now...yeah odds are pretty stacked against the younger generation market right now. But good luck anyway.

Depends on the publisher but usually you only get about 10 cents a book once all the money is divided up.

Depends on how many are sold regardless of the area or publisher.

Depends on how many like it & buy it. Could be a loss or you could make millions. I'ts a risky venture.
