Hitler used the media to spread his message? I think today's major communication companies are ruining America by turning us against ourselves. They just love to feed the fire that creates so much hatred and animosity between Americans.
Not only that, I think they are a major player in the moral decay of America because of the programming they chose to run. Again using propaganda, they have slowly worn us down. All I am saying is that Hitler used similar tactics. Tell me if you agree or disagree.

I'd say yes because back in the 1930s technology was reaching new peaks very rapidly and methods of reaching the masses were much mor accessible than ever before, but the Germans of that day were uneducated about media literacy, what is and isn't true on tv/radio, etc. But in modern america, both the viewers and the propagators are smarter than before. Essentialy the rule of thumb today is trust only yourself and hard evidence from past experiences as truth. Be both wary and cautious of those wanting to manipulate you.

I agree up to a point. After 9/11 the media dropped the ball! Pres. Bush was given Carte Blanche to do whatever he chose! This is why we are in Iraq today. More money for the money men.

Anti-American,,,against the troops....communists! This is propaganda against United States citizens, it should not be supported by any real Americans!

The media tries to be fair to both sides and give each side equal time and consideration and not take a stand. Here is where the opportunity for deception arises. The media should be the fourth branch of government and investigate their activities instead of just fairly reporting them.
While I disagree with your premise, the end result is about the same.

I agree that the media is slanted. You can't help but notice that if you happen to watch Fox for awhile, then turn to CNN to get the rest of the story, then watch Oberman. Once you get through all of them, you might actually be able to figure out what happened. I think these different news channels reach out to specific audiences for ratings rather than focus on the actual facts of the news stories. I liked it years ago when they just reported the news.

Disagree. What you are asking for is censorship media. You sound like you only want one voice and one opinion. The great thing about the media today is that you have all sorts different views that you can listen to.

LIberal media accounts for 95 percent of what we see so yes it is propaganda. Only leaders can see this, the rest of the sheep just follow mindlessly. Wake up America, you need to clear your mind and get off the acid trip. Political Correctness and Liberalism is sending you all straight to H&%#. God Bless.

I agree. Fox News and Rush Limbaugh slant the truth to fool the masses. At least Rush doesn't lie about who side he is on. I'll give him that.
