In prison? In combat? When the victim is his wife? or his girlfriend? or a prostitute?

Why are there so many exceptions when it comes to this brutal and savage attack?

Absolutely not. Under no circumstances is it justifiable.

I don't see how rape is ever justifiable. This partly comes from my law enforcement background where I have been the first person a rape victim sees after their attack and attempting to comfort them while trying to question them at the same time. I can tell you that many cops don't lose any sleep if a suspect in a rape (or child molestation) case decides to resist arrest and happens to suffer some personal injuries. My response also comes because I would consider myself a normal person with morals.

There's something called the "designer defense" where you come up with something - anything - no matter how unbelieveable or outrageous and use it to justify and defend the actions of your client. Under that guise, I could probably come up with some ways to defend a client like any other lawyer. Not that anyone would buy it. It doesn't sell.

You ask why there are so many exceptions but you don't cite them. There really aren't exceptions. In some countries the woman is killed because the religion and belief system practiced dictates that she brought it upon herself and in turn brought disgrace upon her family. That's seriously effed up thinking IMO.

I am absolutely shocked that a woman could ask this, NEVER, EVER, would rape be justifiable, that is insane, I don't care if she is a prostitute, girlfriend, wife, rape is a violent dehumanizing act, no one under any circumstances should EVER be subjected to this type of victimization.

No it is not. A woman has the right to control her own body. She does not forfeit that right through marriage, dating or prostitution.

And just as there is no justifiable victim there is no situation that justifies rape.

Rape is NEVER justifiable. It's a crime of VIOLENCE and it leaves a victim.

Anyone who is overpowered and brutally taken advantage of has to carry that painful emotional experience with them forever. This is NOT a bell you can unring.

Rape is never justifiable. It is just a power play. I don't care what the circumstances are. It is never justifiable. It leaves a wake of destruction in its path.

The word "rape" in and of itself implies that it is wrong and not justifiable. It's like using the word "murder" as opposed to using killing. Murder in and of itself implies that it was not justifiable but killing can be done in self defense or other justifiable situations.

I can't think of any other justifiable reasons though.

Rape is never justifiable! It is a nonconcentual attack that is used to make the perpetrator feel powerful. it is never about sex, it's about control!
