What do you want to put on top? You can use light weight self leveling cement. The OSB should be sealed first and a bonding agent used. I would not consider it the best substrate for tile. It is not strong enough and could crack. Concrete board would be the best underlayment for tile or stone.

yes but what i would do is to 1st lay a felt paper on the aspenite then nail a galv. diamond wire mesh now you your ready to go level it up with a 2x4 when you lay the mortar and if your going to apply a tile floor your set. butter'em and set down ( after the mortar is set.)

mortar would surely crack under any condition. they sell special floor leveling mix you can find @ home depot or lowes.it s easier bc it s all premixed, just add water
