When you say Oxford, I presume you mean the University.
They won't accept you with just good GCSE grades. You also need excellent A Level grades, which involves another 2 years at school. The best universities like Oxford and Cambridge often set their own entry exams too, as well as an interview.
You'll need A Level passes to go to any univesity after school, so you'll most likely have to be 18.

great GCSEs are the first step for getting into Oxford. However, you need 3 As at A level or the equivalent. I'd also say that Oxford is such an intense place that you are best waiting a couple of years anyway. Like any university, moving away from home is hard. But the standards and amount of work expected of you at Oxford make life very challenging, so its best to gain a bit more life experience and independent learning skills at sixth form first anyway. There will be plenty of time for uni in a couple of years. Great to be ambitious though! Good luck.

You have to be 18 to go to Oxford University.
The minimum requirements are two A levels to go to any university in the UK so good GCSE's wouldn't be enough.
Make sure you choose traditional, academic A level subjects and you should be on the right track - the competition is huge (and I mean huge - I have 3 A's and have been rejected by 3 universities) so be prepared to consider other univeristies.
Good luck!

I suggest you contact your high school advisers as well as Oxford's. You have nothing to lose and a lot of info to gain. 16 is very young. Are you done most of your courses? Could you potentially graduate early? Being admitted to Oxford is hard enough, but at 16 I think you would practically have to be a prodigy.
