What am 'I' anyway, but the creation of my own thoughts.
The point of life is always 'right now'.
Your difficulty is coming from your attempt to understand that which has nothing other than a linguistic definition.
You are using language.
Language only asks one question after another.
All of language's answers add up to zero!
Quit using language to try and define that which is undefinable.
Be 'Here' and be 'Now'.
This is the point.
You are the point.
To attempt to understand what we call existence with language is as impossible as moving a mountain with a teaspoon.
Stop banging your hammer and you will cease to hear the noise.

That question comes up a lot. Don't ask. You don't wannt know the purpose of life.
You want to hear that it's about humans. It's not. Ninety percent of the cells in your body are bacteria. That's where the real intelligence on this planet resides. Humans, and other animals, serve the microbes by acting as their delivery vehicles and ultimately their dinner. They breed us like we breed cattle.
Are you sorry you asked?

To learn and help one another even strangers. We are all in the same boat. No matter how rich, how different, we basically need the same things and have the same emotions. Help others and you will be rewarded 3 times over in many different ways. Have a great day every day. The choice is yours

I stopped wondering what the point in living was. I would rather just live life and have fun! Watch my daughter grow and enjoy the company of fine friends, my husband, and family.
Then I realized, that was the point!

Many people use religion the path to purpose. Others choose a purpose in something the are passionate about (protecting children, creating art, etc)
The purpose of your life is your choice. Many people don't choose to have a purpose, and really don't seem to care about their purpose in life anymore than a tomcat does.

The point is that you find a point.
Learn to use all the capacity you have to find what reason you are here.
It may take many, many years.
Use it as a journey and not a question.

I honestly think the point lies somewhere between you and me. Reality is not static. It moves. Life happens in that movement, and beauty arises in the rhythm between two people.
Light and love to you.

To be that link between all the yesterdays and all the tomorrows. To be one among many that makes the reality that is life among the stars.
