Would you read a book of a girls life that has been through alot of struggles at a young age..and then after finishing her life-story ..gives tips on how she got through her stuggles so that if you are going through something similar or know someone who is..you can conect with the situation and take the tips from the book to see if those tips can help you out.

its my friend's idea..but she doesnt know if people would want to read something like that.
(based on a real-life-story by the way)

this book would have you crying and laughing your head of to..because it talks about every detail from the worst times..to the most embarressing..and so on. she has already written it..a draft copy anyways and i read it..i think good. but before she gets really into publishing it..she wants to know if others would want to read something like this.

I think a lot of people could relate to this story. Fell the pain and joy of struggling through life in this country. From a Girls perspective. Good luck.

I'm a freelance book editor, and I'm sorry to say that the chances of any kind of memoir getting published are zero to none. Most people read to take themselves out of their present circumstances, not to remind themselves of their unhappiness. Books detailing struggle and triumph are only read by the most desperate people in similar situations, and publishers recognize that is an impossible market to reach.

This would be great so find out how best to go about it. Sometimes hiring a known writer to co write the book can help get it sold or noticed by a publisher.

I think the easiest way to answer your friends question is to provide her with a link, to another popular book (Don't worry, it's in the public domain.) published a long time ago, with a preface written by someone who was then a very famous man. If she reads the preface I think she'll have her answer.

The long short of it is, yes, I think people would read it.
