Suicide is never the answer. First and foremost, God never gives us more than we can handle. And if ya think you got it bad, just take a look at the news. If you kill yourself, then you will just have to come back thru reincarnation and try it all over again. You think God applaudes people for taking the easyway out, while others stick around to suffer and try to figure things out. You will have a real hard time trying to convince Him otherwise. Did he take his own life when He knew what was going to happen to him? Where there is a question, there is an answer. Get help, please.

I think suicide should be an option only when things get completely f**ked. And I'm NOT talking about getting dumped and not being able to get over it. I'm talking about when you're absolutely F.U.B.A.R(ed)**. Take it from me, a person who has stared directly into the barrell of a gun on several different occasions, suicide is usually a bad idea. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe you're at the end of your rope and if you think that its the only then, Hell, who I am to talk you out of it. I dont know you, but I do know that more often than not there is another way out. There was a time a few years ago when I was so completely, impossibly, jammed-up that I figured punching out was the be-all/end-all, luckily for me I was wrong. How about this, instead of deciding to ace yourself on whim, why not just try starting over. Dont tell anyone what you're doing, pack up, take off and just GO. I disappeared for about 18 months or so one time and it turned out to be absolutely what I needed. Sitting in your house, drinking beer and stewing about the fact that life sucks isn't going to help you to see clearly. The only thing I can tell you is that if you do decide to knock off early, do not be an a**hole about. Have some respect for those you're leaving behind, don't make a mess. How about instead of staring in the mirror and putting a gun to your head, why not try taking a lethal does of morphine? You'll go out pain free and more importantly your family will not have to clean up after you. Nevertheless, I still wouldnt do it. Try something new instead. You may just find out that your capable of things you never believed were possible.

Never. Life is always worth living. I used to say that if I was like Christopher Reeves I would rather be dead than to live like that. I no longer feel that way because look at all the good he did and the people he touched because of his accident. He was an inspiration. You never know what the future holds or what God's purpose is for you. Never give up!

The only thing that would make me want to commit sucide is if I was given the news that I had cancer and it was incurable...I would not want to put my family through an agonizing deathwatch....Otherwise I could not do it...Suicide is a selfish, cowardly end to your problems, but creates more problems for your family and friends...Of course, you would not be around to deal with those problems, but who with any compassion for the people they love could do that to them unless medically there was no hope

I would never turn to it in my right mind.

The state of mind where'd I'd do it can only be described as "so bad that I'd kill myself", which is kind of a weird self-definition. But I don't know how else to describe it.

In that state of mind, things that an ordinary person should be able to cope with would be excruciatingly difficult and drive me to kill myself instead.

you don't turn to it, it means you have given up hope, and as long as you are breathing there is a chance things will get better. it does always just before the darkest hour.

When your life has become unbearable & you don't see a way out. I came close when I was going through domestic abuse several years ago. He threatened to kill me & all my friends & relatives if I didn't do everything he told me. He made my life a living hell. Fortunately, I got away from him, & through counseling, got over most of it.

Never. Life is too grand, in my opinion, to end it. On purpose at least. I wouldn't ever kill myself.
