Hope those work for you.

Let's just say that Berkeley is a VERY good school!

(P.S. - on that second link, Berkeley is ranked # 21 out of all of the top Universities. That list isn't official or anything, just a compilation....)

I'm not personally at Berkeley, but As are "excellent", Bs are "strong/good", and Cs are "average/satisfactory". Of course these are broad definitions and what it takes to get an A, B, or C, will vary from program to program and course to course. It also depends on whether your prof curves the class. If a curve is used and it's a generally tough class then you could end up with an A even if your % mark is in the 60s as long as your mark is higher than most of the class. Non-curved classes typically set As around 90%, A- anywhere from 80-90%, Bs 70s-low 80s, and so forth.

I hope that's what you're asking, if you're asking how exactly the college is rated, then I have no idea :P In any case, hope this helps... Berkeley is a good school so if you can get in, go for it!

No one really grades how good a school is on a A, B, C scale.

It's one of the top schools in the country. Some rankings have it rated in the top 5 in the whole world, when you include cost.

It'd clearly be an A school.

It's very liberal, altho less so than in the 60's (too many asians). Berkeley is one of the last places you'd find racism. The kids, and even the faculty, would likely lynch any racist they found. Literally.

Berkeley is a very liberal campus, and is considered to be one of the best in the nation. Many compare it to Ivy League colleges, although it is not technically. Uber competitive + about a million graduate programs.

I found it kinda creepy, plus all the naked protests kinda scared me away from it. Basically if I dont get into UCLA I'll have to go there...oh well, its still a hella good school
