I am reminded of my wife and her honey do list stuck to the refrigerator door with those irritating little magnets. There is always something there to remind me. I am familiar with the Dionne Warwick version recorded in 1968, but not the Naked Eyes version. I love the lyrics. Do the lyrics remind you of someone living in Scotland?

Yeah, those lazy days on a warm beach with friends and nothing to worry about but a broken fingernail and what was I going to wear later...or where the boys were going to be. Ah, youth!

I was in a military school in Florida when that came out. It made me wonder why I was throwing away my freedom at the time. Now, I understand my destiny a bit better.

MTV, drum machines, and high school. It also makes me think of Naked Eyes' lesser hit, "Promises, Promises."
