Fanatic marketing is building a following so loyal, so out of this world in love with your business or product or service, that they just tell EVERYONE about it - they're literally fanatics. It takes a LOT of work to build *that* kind of loyalty and -woohoo- about a product.

The other usage I've seen of this is along the lines of assumptive marketing or assumptive sales, where you just automatically assume they're going to buy. Here, you market to your customers and assume that they're going to be fanatical about your product or service or business.

Hope this helps.

While I haven't heard of it, I'd say that it would niche marketing, extreme focus on a small devoted market...rock climbers, xtreme skiers, snowboarders, etc.
