i'm 17 and i have a problem with my sweating. I sweat when it's hot or when it's cold or even room temprature. I use deodarant and it doesnt seem like it's helping. I;ve talked to my doctor about it a few times now and she said that it's because of hormones and stuff and that it shoudl go away and stuff. It hasnt at all. I dont know what to do because its a constant embarresment. Does anyone have any suggestions about any deodarants or anything??!

I also have been dealing with this condition for awhile now. The medical term for it is hyperhidrosis.

I've found that Certain Dri (available at Rite Aid for $5.99) works wonders for me! Certain Dri is an anti-perspirant ONLY. You have to apply before you go to bed. Though you might think its a little pricey for just a small bottle, trust me it is worth it :) I only have to apply it 1-2 times per week, so the bottle I have right now has lasted me since May 2006. I highly recommend you give it a try!

PS- As for anti-perspirant with deodorant, I love Secret Platinum clear gel. I apply just a tiny amount before getting dressed in the morning. This also helps, plus it smells great, even at the end of the day.

Good luck!

I asked this question for my younger sister the other day, I bought her some Certain-Dri and some Drysol, they didn't work for her but they worked for me when I was your age. You could also get some perscription deodarants that could help better, or so that's what people suggested to me. I understand your situation, it is really hard especially during your teen years. Something will work for you so hang in there.

definite - different than which you sweat greater desirable than you like and recover from it till now you start up taking drugs that would ok have horrific consequences which will make the organic sweating look as though a minimum difficulty.

Well I use Mennen cause I'm a guy, but has your Doctor mentioned that B vitamin deficiency can cause excess sweating? It would have to be the complex, not just B6 or components. See if that helps.
