When I look at Chorion the way I want to say it reminds me of a counter top. Metallica for a girl is just plain silly. You want to name your daughter after a metal band. Do you want her to grow up and be a groupie.
How are either of these kids going to be taken seriously with the names you have chosen. This isn't like naming a pet. This is a person.
The person who put this post up must be 16. Silly!

I personally like uncommon names, but for some reason metalliica seems like a rocker name, chorion reminds me of some kind of plant that grows in the sea. you have to remember that names leave an impression, if not the first impression. uncommon names are nice to give the baby his or her own identity but if it's just plain out ther, then stick to a more common name. but ultimately it is how you feel about the name and the baby that has to live wiith it. good luck...

Chorion is pretty interesting and unique, but I don't like Metallica as much. Instead have a name related to Metallica, for example:
1. Memorie - from song "the Memorie Remains"
2. Believe - This is the first name which Metallica had in mind for the "Cure" song, because of the repeating 'I Do Believe' - part.
3 .Vette (or some variation) - When they tried to find a suitable name for the band, one of the names they considered was "Red Vette", but as you probably know, they ended up with "Metallica".
4. Doris - Doris is Lady Justice's nickname (the statue with the scales on the "...And Justice For All" album).

Chorion sounds like something you go to proctologist to get surgicially removed, Metallica for a girl? High school yearbook will read "Most likley to be a prostitute".

Sounds like a countertop and a heavy metal band...please stop making up names for your child and pick something. Which is worse-someone else having the same name as your child or someone constantly teasing your child because they have a weird name?

Do you really want to name your daughter after whiney multi-millionare cry babies that try to squeeze every penny they can out of cosumers who provided them with that millions by supporting their pathetic rear ends? They're a sucky whiney complaining band.. Maybe if they spent those millions they constantly get after whining about Napster (and the like) to charities, I'd have some respect for them.. They are just greedy selfish morons trying to line their pockets more

Those poor kids. They will be teased and miserable with those horrible names. Choose names that will look good on a job or college application. Keep away from weird names for your child's sake.

Are you serious?
Those are awful. I love the band Metallica but I would never name my child that.
