I don't think you should worry.. I am a brazilian woman and everytime I end a conversation on the phone with a friend (female or male) I always say Beijos, which means kisses... Beijo grande means Big Kiss. Its all good nothing to worry about.. some people say beijinhos which means little kisses.. its just an expression of ending a conversation fallowing with a bye!!

Not at all. You should know that Brazilian people are really friendly. To say "um beijo grande" (a huge kiss) is a normal way to write to people, when we say good bye to a friend or relative.
Don't worry about!!! Just enjoy and be happy!!!

Nope, its no big deal. My brother's wife is Brazilian, and she says it all the time. Its always thrown around like that. I am South American too, and we say Besos, or Besote for Big Kiss. BUT, if it makes you uncomfortable that she's writing that to a guy that is not related to her, tell her that. She knows you are from another culture too, so both of you have to make adjustments. Its no big deal, she could end the e-mail with Ciao, or Take Care, or something like that instead.
Go with what you feel and your comfort level, but No, I would not suspect anything.

No, it is an expression here don't worry. It could be your "Take care". They can be friends, however you should watch her. Like all countries in world we have loyal people and bad people.
Example: You can see Yahoo answers in Brazil. Everybody writes Bjs. (Beijos) and we even don't know very well the other person who asked it.

Yes it is used between friends and very often. I say that to all my Brazilian female friends without any sexual connotation to it. It is as common as saying “best regards”, "take care” or “see you soon” in English. Don't worry about it.
In addition, please understand that most Brazilians are very caring, hug and kiss everybody on their face, even when they just met the person.

I write too, and yes if she writes whats on her mind and what she is feeling or thinking about then yes you should be concerned because though she may deny it and say its just a poem or just a notebook entry its much more if its speaking from her heart, might be that writing is her way of getting it all out because she knows she can never tell anyone about her personal pain and issues because it will end up getting around to you, and maybe she cares about this person and "loves" them but obvisally she cares and loves you more and treasures what you two share more because she is still with you, tho she may write of him maybe that is her way of getting it all out rather than cheating on you and leaving you maybe she is trying to get all her feelings out so that when she goes over them she knows she is making the right desision in staying with you. -Lizz(:
