assuming that never hiring him was not an option I would have to say that he should have been gone long ago.

that son of a ***** is ruining lions football. i mean i know us in michigan have amazing basketball,baseball, and hockey teams but it would be nice to have a respectable football team.

I agree, he should have been gone long ago. I know he was hired in 2001 and the Lions haven't a had a winning season yet plus I don't think he has a clue when it comes to evaluating talent either. He should of been gone after 2003 at the latest.

Everyone deserves two years from their hiring to show something. No one deserves more than four years if they don't show something. Millen was hired in 2001, so I would say 2004. And thats being very generous.

as soon as he showed himself to be, well not up to par. I would say within one season. Two to be generous. I guess some teams just don't want to improve. They will be a bad team for a very long time to come.
