i have this guy friend who keeps postponing their marriage by the church, his woman and him keep on having arguments, that are big, not small, he has thought about getting a divorse and not going through with the church thingie, well, they make up and then they fight again, they've been going at it for over 6 months... now... i don't really think they should get married... but, what do you guys think?? she's controling, manipulative and a bit of a blackmailer, since he doesn't have any family here, she always tells him that without her he's nothing, and that in their apartment the only thing he owns is his clothes... stuff like that.

this is really none of your business, but he needs to run, not walk away. This woman is an abuser big time. He is a fool not to see it. Is he stupid? Does he need a keeper?

There is something thats keeping him there...

Until he explores the option of a life without her, I don't know how much else can be done. Some men like those types of women, maybe he's the exact opposite. BTW, who doesn't have something that's wrong with them, I'm sure your future (or current) husband's friend thinks that you may have issues also. But it's up to the other person to decide whether or not they can live with that for the rest of their lives.

These people don't live in VA beach do they? Anyway he needs to stop and get away from her b/c she is going to make him miserable and he will be destructive in some way and it will be disastrous. It shouldn't go down at all.

sounds like they are already legally married but if she is that terrible he should leave and never look back. There is someone out there that will treat him well!
