To stay in solidarity and peace... A Utopia because it have been; i've got faith there'll nevertheless be (and could be) discord and scuffling with. In all issues there are a minimum of two facets, and there is an extremely stable explanation for that. If all of us held a similar concept, a similar perception, a similar outlook or comparable emotion then we could as properly provide up latest as people. to comprehend the stable you need to experience the undesirable. the explanation i'm the stable individual i've got faith i'm is with the help of all of the strife and hardship i've got experienced. the final human beings in the international that i've got considered are the individuals who have been by the worst hardships and not basically survived, yet thrived in spite of them. i think of that applies to each physique, in my view, and as an entire. IMHO. ;p

i think there is a strong chance we can have peace on this subject there have been many books written on the subject one was written by Doug Roche it has been recommended as an excellent source for information on how to get peace or you could try the book scorched earth the military assault on the environment as a further indicator of the chance for peace or every day acts against racism edited by Maureen t. Reddy or dillemmas of domination by walden bello as an indicator of the desire for peace

Peace is not possible as long as there are cultures that believe in violence as a means to an end. There are nations in our world that have a history as far back as we can decipher that have alway been, and still are based on violence. Where death is martyred. Unless they are wiped out or a change of thinking occurs no peace will ever come to the rest of the world.

If peace was possible it would of happened by now.

Yep, we are so screwed up, and continue to be so. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't continue to work for peace.
Who knows, I might be wrong.

Many have tried before to create Utopia and have failed. There is always going to be a person who wants to be ontop. It is like taking a group of people you do not know and having everyone agree onto one thing. It usually does not work out that easily.

What a great question! Can I ask you one? Animals fight with one another (you know, nature red in tooth and claw) but is this fighting the same as war? Do you think that 'without thinking or language' we could have war? I am not trying to answer your question with a question, but I am trying to make a specific point. Would we, or could we, have war without language? We might fight, like animals, without words, but could we disagree, argue, etc, without language and words?
Do you think any group of, what we call, 'animals' could disagree enough to go to war without words that they could speak that told them that they disagreed, were pissed off, etc? Language is responsible for the symbols that we use to express ourselves. Animals may fight, animals may attack one another, even in groups, but without language is there such a thing as what we call war?
So, my answer to you is 'YES', all human beings have enough in common to live in peace. We, as humans, also have enough in common to live in perpetual war. That thing that we have in common is what I am using 'right now' to communicate with you. Language is the creator of disagreement, which can lead to war, and agreement, which can lead to peace. Language is the tool which makes us human, and also the tool that makes us inhumane. Language is such a powerful tool that many people do not even realize that they are using it because they are so busy using it.
Language, words, meaning: are what we have in common, and are what will either save us or destroy us.

It is not the individual who wants war .Its there superiors who send them off to kill on their behalf. If every single person refused to fight what would happen ,no war.If they refused to fight they would be seen as cowards so they do as they are told. They have to fight for their country(what ever that means). So that's why we have wars to do the dirty work for their governments who sit back and wait to claim victory for winning their wars at the expense of their people who are expendable.

People make it seem that others are so different, though really, they are very similar. If we just realize how similar we are, break down our differences, and se the mirror between ourselves, would could probably achieve peace.

Yes, we have enough in common to be able to live together as we are. There is this thing called sin and we all have it and are imperfect.

Yes, I feel that we do have enough in common, but we are so wrapped up in our stuff that we don't take time to recognized that if we work together that things would be much better for us. We are selfish and that is not right. But hell that life.
