I guess it depends on how old you are and if you're still menustrating (sp?). Click on the "source" links. I hope that helps. But most of all call your doctor (ob/gyn). You may need to have a mammogram. If you're worried about pain during the mammogram - tell this to your doctor and/or nurse and the person administering the mammogram. But don't wait too long. It doesn't always mean that it's cancer - sometimes you might have fibroids which are usually benign. But, even if it is cancer... the advances of breast cancer treatments are so much better. I'm living proof - I had breast cancer 2 years ago - went through chemo (wasn't that bad, for me anyway - I kept a positive attitude) and radiation. I'm better now, have a better head of hair than what I had before I lost the old (overprocessed) hair, and feeling so much better. In fact - I've returned to college to complete all my requirements for a degree. I wish you the best - keep us posted.

I have these symptoms about three days before my period each month. In fact, I usually wake up in the middle of the night feeling so incredibly nauseous. It goes away as soon as my period starts.
