Perfectly normal for breastfed babies. Nothing to do with sneezies and nothing to do with veggies.
Edited by John Doe's wife, currently BF their daughter...
However, if the green poop persists, it *could* be an indication of either a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, or a sensitivity to something in the mom's diet (common culprits are dairy and soy).
If you keep seeing green poop persistently, I'd try block nursing. That is, nurse off of one side only for "blocks" of 3 hours or so. Don't do this if you have supply problems, as if supply is in jeopardy you always want to offer both breasts. But at 8 weeks out, if supply seems OK, it's fine to try this. Block nursing (nursing off one side per feeding or even one side per 2 feedings if feedings are closely spaced) will ensure that the baby gets the fatty hindmilk. Sometimes a baby gets too much "foremilk", and this can cause green poops.
I would not restrict your diet unless you are *sure* there is a problem. If you do decide to try an elimination diet, you must eliminate a food for over a week before you can tell if it has had an effect. Cow's milk proteins pass into breastmilk and are one of the most common things that *could* have an effect on a breastfed baby.
However, it is unlikely this is the case. Very few babies actually have a true intolerance to something in the mom's diet. You can see www.askdrsears.com or the Kellymom site for more info on elimination diets if you continue to be concerned and it's not a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, but remember: ALL babies have gassiness and occasional weird poops. It's normal unless it is chronic and causing obvious discomfort that cannot be eased.
The sneezing is also common for newborns. If they get a little dust in their nose, etc., they'll sneeze, and it's nothing to be concerned about. Keep baby away from airborne irritants as much as possible, of course.
One more thing: I highly recommend picking up a copy of Harvey Karp's "The Happiest Baby on the Block"...I recommend this to all parents of newborns. There is also a DVD. It doesn't address poop or nutrition issues, but gives very effective techniques to calm your baby. Most babies this age go through some fussiness every day and it can be very frustrating to deal with...HBOTB is a lifesaver.
Good luck!
Edited again to add the link to Dr. Jay Gordon's "poop page"...lol...it should ease your worries. :-)

It may be a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. It can be corrected by "block nursing" feed only on one side for 2 feedings, or all feedings for 4 hours, then switch and do the same for the other side. This will ensure that the baby gets the fatty "hindmilk." There is a lot of lactose in the first milk and it can cause frothy green watery stools.
"Seeing Green
One time to be concerned is when the bowel movements are consistently green. This can occur when baby is getting lower fat content milk – foremilk – that usually is available at the beginning of the feeding. Brown-Ginsberg says that having Baby finish on one side before switching to the second side will ensure that Baby gets the higher fat content – hind milk – at each feeding. "Parents should call Baby's pediatrician if stools are consistently green [or] contain mucus or blood," she says.
If the infant has a soft, non-tender abdomen without distension, apparent pain, lethargy, vomiting or fever, then no intervention is necessary, says Dr. Rudolph. Grunting, pushing or turning red in the face while passing a stool is normal in infants and should not be of concern if the stool doesn't contain blood or mucus. "If the infant has a hard distended tummy, fever or apparent pain that is not associated with passage of a bowel movement or vomiting of blood or greenish-colored vomitus, the infant should be evaluated by a physician," he says. First green poo for more than a few days first i think of dairy.do you consume alot of dairy in your diet? If so you may need to cut dairy out.
Since baby is young im thinking Foremilk/Hindmilk imbalance
Green poo is a sign of unbalance milk. Baby might be getting more foremilk than hind milk.....hind milk is the fatty liquid.
You maybe switching breast to fast (as in the baby is getting all the formilk and fussing so you switch, getting the hindmilk requires more work (sucking).
Keep the baby on the same breast for a longer period of time, even start the next nursing session from the same breast
ex: nurse the right side.........(pump the left) next time start with the right so baby gets the rest of the hind milk and then offer the left.
Green poo is normal tho so dont worry....if you eat alot of green veggies it will happen, but at that age its probably the unbalance of milk.
Here is a good link about poop when breastfeeding your baby

Yup and boy is that freaky when you are expecting yellow. As long as your bebe is eating and acting normally don't worry about it. Mention it to your doctor if you are still worried.

That happened to me too there is no need to worry. Its just his body reacting to what you have eaten. The sneezing is normal too. Alll babies sneeze after born because they need to clear out their nasal passages after being in utero/fluids for so long.
