Monty has a different plan for distributing prize money for the trivia contest. The contestant will receive $5 for the first correct response. For the second correct response, the total winnings will increase to $25; for the third correct response, the total wining will increase to $125; and so on. What is the equation?

Hint: It is NOT Y=5^X*5

prize money = 5 to the power of correct number answered

So 4 correct answers yeilds 625 bucks
5 correct will get you 3125, etc.

y=5^x-y (five power x, where x is the real number= 1,2,3,4,5 etc..) and where y is the amount of the last answered question.

i.e., for fourth answer, they will get 625$
