In Pearl Jam's Black there is a reference to "five horizons" (as in, "all five horizons revolved around her soul"). Anyone know what this means?

It means "universe" just like Lady Sonething has said, it references to four-directions (West, East, North, South) and Above. By the song context, the subject (he) feels that when he was fallin in love with the object (woman), everything goes on their way. And Black told about broken-relationship. When she leaving, the whole universe that surround him (through the girl) suddenly dissapeared, leave the man in black (dark universe with no dierction, no horizons).

possibly symbolic religious reference (the number five has a lot of symbolic significance in many religions)...or it could just mean his entire world (all directions plus one)...others have also said it could mean all five senses
