Officials at Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Ill., have ordered their 14-year-old freshman class into a "gay" indoctrination seminar, after having them sign a confidentiality agreement promising not to tell their parents. "This is unbelievable," said Matt Barber, policy director for cultural issues for Concerned Women for America. "It's not enough that students at Deerfield High are being exposed to improper and offensive material relative to unhealthy and high-risk homosexual behavior, but they've essentially been told by teachers to lie to their parents about it."

Why would anyone say anything to the ACLU about it?

Not even the CWA, who appears to be responsible for this nifty little peace of propoganda, makes any mention of the ACLU connection to the story.

It was only when the "stop the ACLU" blog picked it up and repeated it with the completely irrelevant "observation" that the ACLU has been an active supporter of gay rights (without offering any evidence that the were involved with THIS case in any way) that the ACLU was ever mentioned--hardly surprising for a group called "Stop the ACLU", right?

According to the WorldNetDaily which has your quote verbatim, "The school's officials required the 14-year-olds to attend a "Gay Straight Alliance Network" panel discussion led by "gay" and "lesbian" upperclassmen during a "freshman advisory" class which "secretively featured inappropriate discussions of a sexual nature in promotion of high-risk homosexual behaviors.""

The article is extremely slanted. It sounds like the Gay Straight Alliance has a panel and they talk about it. Heck, we just did that in the college course I teach. It was a discussion about stereotypes and providing safe environments. We didn't indoctrinate anyone, I led the discussion and I identify as heterosexual. There is no gay agenda except civil rights.

Oh I provided the link for people too.

I find this impossible to believe. BUT then again this is the new USA - political correct and logically wrong.

As for the ACLU - I thought they helped the poor & unrepresented in the legal system - now I realize they are the enemy we are defending ourselves against. The ACLU short of cutting off heads is equviliant to the muslim terroist we are at war with

I know the A.C.L.U. is a sorry organization from what they have been doing to the "boy scouts of /America" as I didn't think anyone could stoop so low , I didn't like them before because of their policy's beliefs and traditions go against Americas beliefs and traditions, and our religious establishments, it is a shame the American public will allow these culprits to even remain in our country, as most of them are Zionist that our fore fathers have warned us about in the past, and they are hell bent on destroying America and the Christan faith, the very back bone of our society, when are our men going to wake up and start being men again? I think the women have more balls than our men,

I think I would keep my child home from school that day. I do not like the idea of a school teaching my child about "lifestyles". That is up to mom and dad to do that. Its OK for sexual matters to be taught in school, but taking a few minutes out of the day to say a short prayer or to even mention God in school is against the law. WOW what are we becoming?

It is not a gay indoctrination...... It is part of the sex education program.

If the whacko parents would discuss these matters without bringing morality or god into the discussion, sex ed in schools wouldn't be necessary.

And - I don't believe the ACLU is involved in this...it appears to be the High School that set it up.

Don't worry, they aren't going to "turn gay" over it!!
