Because if life were perfect, happy and peaceful, we would not be able to recognize beauty when we saw it. We would never grow. Haters are a necessary evil. Don't think because you're gay or lesbian that you have a corner on that market, hon. There's hate everywhere. No matter what you do, someone will find something wrong with it. All we can do is not stoop to that level ourselves and raise the next generation to do the same. It doesn't mean we have to accept things we don't like, but we can certainly be civil and intelligent. Remember, there are people out there that you may not like or even that you hate and they will say that they don't deserve your hatred either.

Easier said than done.... I know it!

Because they come in here (in our supposedly gay positive space) and give us grief! The thing that bugs me the most is that Yahoo sets this area up for us gays and then does little or nothing to stop the harassment we have to put up with from these homophobes that come in here pretending to be something they are not and then just harass us! Yahoo needs to smarten up and run a better system here that is free of hate! Do you know that they don't even have a category for that in there complaints sections when you hit the 'Report Abuse' button anymore - they used to but they got rid of it!

Because hate is fun.

Hatred of other people is a lie from the devil.

Western society has embraced evil. Thievery, sexual promiscuity, conception outside of marriage, socialism have all been glamourized and embraced by the mainstream.

There will always be haters because Satan is the Prince of the Air.

Yes, no matter what you do, or don't do, someone will hate you for something. You could be ordained perfect by God himself and someone would still hate you. It's not fair, but it's true. I learned to live with that fact a long time ago and am much happier for it. Just be who you are and be happy cause no matter what, someones gonna complain!

stop spending energy on these fools...they write here to get you going, make you angry, and make you feel inferior. When you answer their ridiculous rot, it empowers them and encourages them to write more preposterous comments. They know full well how silly what they say is, in fact, say the same things over and over, month after month...and yet you all seem to be unable NOT to reply with sarcasm...it doesn't work. the only way to end it is to end it...ignore it completely, don't even read the questions. You know this already. Why do you continue to fall into the trap of internet trolls (there really are only one or two who use many different screen names. Good luck

That is just the way life is, you got good people and then you have the ones that don't even like themselves, the haters.

Because we can't expect everyone to be perfect. Some people are closed-minded and some aren't. Some people are peacemakers and some aren't. You are always going to have pros and cons and life. That's just it, but as long as you don't let it effect you, you'll feel less weight on your shoulders.

This is because society always needs a group that they can turn into scapegoats and blame stupid problems on. In groups and out groups keep a society together.

Yes, gays need groups like Christians to hate. This is their way of using others to deflect their own low self esteem.
