Why do I have to pay high taxes to support Bush's war? We could be using that money to help our own people like creating some kind of national health care, for example. But no. They have to cut things like education, Medicare, etc. so they have more money for their war.

Actually, only a very small portion of our taxes go towards Welfare-like programs. Most of it goes towards maintaining the Countries infrastructure; all the different military expenses; running the Government; and towards loans going overseas. As for your paying for other peoples "failures", as ANY economist will tell you, -NO system is perfect, & there are GOING to be "x" # of failures, per "x" # of successes. Nobody get's it all their own way, -not even the "successes". So just be thankfull you're on the "giving" end... :)

why not complain about all the billions the feds give away to bribe other country's,why not help people in this country, they have to try to find jobs its a law they do. could you live on six hundred a month.what the feds give them is nothing compared to the waste of money ,in so many ways, why not complain about something other then what is actually helping the people. like roads to where are money given to Egypt.are half our taxes going to company's that make things for the military.

Because "good hard-working Christian conservatives" insist on setting up the system so those people are penalized if they try to work, try to get job training, stay together as a family unit--or do any of the other things that might enable them to get on their feet.

You didn't think the right-wing actually bought into all that "do unto others" stuff Jesus talked about, did you?

No, you pay high taxes so top 10 or 1% who make millions each year can skip their tax with their creative book keeping with high power accountants.

You actually may be paying more to cover for unpaid taxes by millionaires and their tax shelter/cheats.
