I am seriously obsessed with candles. I have a candle closet. I burn them for both the scent and the ambience. My favorites are the cinnamon scented and baked goods ones.

My house sometimes smells almost like a candle shop, I love candles so much. They look really nice in the evening, too, especially around the holidays. Now it's 80 degrees - getting too hot for candles already! :(

I usually burn at least one white candle a day...Sometimes more! I meditate and this is a habit I have to use the flame of a candle as a gazing point...Also I find it's putting a mood in a room...Flames are alive!

I do when I use the vacuum cleaner. My brilliant husband used it to vacuum up one of our rooms that was over run w/ Japanese beetles. (Ya know the ones that look like lady bugs but are orange and sting.) Now whenever we use the vacuum it stinks. I told him he needs to buy me a Dyson now but he just looks at me like I grew a second nose and says "Ha, what do ya think? I'm rich?" They cost $500. Whats the big deal? LOL

No, they are a fire hazard. We do have a $4500 fire alarm system in our house that goes off even if you light one candle.
Lost a grandson in a bad fire 10 years ago. That is why we bought the system, it was not at this house that this loss happened.
