today's world relies heavily on public appearance and living up to other people's standards.
when someone believes that another person is superior to them or is in any way better in terms of a certain characteristic they will often try to prove themselves worthy and therefore lose their self-concept, self-determination, self-worth, etc in the process. they lose sight of their goals, their dreams and themselves.
often they feel the only way to be of use, worthwhile and important in the world is by doing as they are told. its common sense really - but its a sad and pathetic state to be in.
people need to start believing in themselves and boosting their self-confidence. we dont need any more hitler scenarios

Some people would rather accept a wrong answer rather than face the fact that no one really has an answer. Others are affraid to be different, and yet others are simply to lazy or stupid to think for themselves. There are a lot of intelligent thoughtful people out there though.
