1/3r=3/4 it is probably really simple but i forgot how to do it

multiply each side by 3
so
r=9/4
so r=2 1/4

multiply both sides by 3

1/r = 9/4

r = 4/9

you divide both sides by 1/3
r=3/4 divided by 1/3
r=2.25

First, divide by 1/3 on each side...
so you get :
3/4 divided by 1/3 then you flip 1/3 over to its recipricol so it is 3/1 then you MULTIPY 3/1 by 3/4 and you get
9/4 as your answer

divide by 1/3 to isolat the r and you get 3/4 times 3. b/c u multiply by the reciprocal of the fraction. the answer is r=9/4

you have to get r by itself...to do that you have to multiply by 3.
whatever you do to one side you have to do to the other so multiply both sides by 3 and you get r=9/4
