if you were annoying someone and sent stupid questions that are kindda mean, but mostly stupid could you get arrested? you sent a few smily faces and stuff. that other person said bad words to you adn mean stuff. would it be a for what you did crime?

Actually yes you could have a criminal action started under cyber stalking laws in some states. It is basically the same as harassing phone calls. If the person has told you not to email them anymore, and you continue you could be charged. Unless the messages where threatening you would probably only be summoned to court.

No however you both are being abusive with regards to the agreements of each ISO providers conditions. If it continues and the other party has had enough and reports you as harassing them - you however would probably lose all privileges to have an email address and the ISO provider would likely shut you down and kick you off their services. Which they can legally do.

It's certainly rude, but not illegal. You do have the option of either ignoring the emails by deleting them without reading them, or marking them as spam. You can report them to your email provider as harrassment and hope they do something about it. Check your provider's policy on this.

Unfortunately it is not against the law to be stupid or our jails and prisons would really be full and overflowing.
