Some say "ball hog" other say its raw talent and skill. I think that he is a very skillful player but nonetheless is still a ball hog. There are many other ballhogs that dont get any or no publicity ( Jemaine O'neal, Paul Pierce) for the sole reason that they dont make the shots they take, As in Kobe he does. Ballhog or not he is a great player and if nobody else wants to step up and score on the lakers it might as well be him. All of his critics and people that say how much they hate him would kill to get him on their team or Favorite team, Dont kid yourself, Dont lie

he's the ideal! no person likes to lose, or be lied to! Be great comprehensive to the followers? The followers did no longer promise him extra ideal teammates, the owner did! Kobe is an excellent basketball player and can definitely score. I think he is a little underrated with his defense as I think he is also a good (not great) defensive player. Yes he is a ball hog but u cannot blame him cos there is not many people who can score in Lakers at the moment. But he can be greater if he starts to share the ball more ... finding open players. I know he is not a PG but he constantly gets the ball and he has to play a bit of PG to get his teammates going. None of the less, love those high scoring games and his athletic ability to stay in the air!

Fact: More people pay to see Kobe play than any other player. The Lakers lead the league in road attendance this year.
Opinion: Kobe is more scrutinized than any player in history. Made big mistakes in public and the media went after him. Do you think Jordan or Shaq was perfect? Heck no. How many NBA stars do you think have baby's mommas they aren't married to?
Do you think the Laker's pay Kobe to pass the ball? They pay him to score. And when he scores big, the team wins.

If you played, were good enough to score almost at will, and your coach told you to shoot 30+ times a night(and don't try to tell me Phil isn't ok with it)... would you shoot 30+ times or try to distribute the ball? Don't kid yourself, don't lie. You'd take those shots. But it dosen't make you a ball hog.
BTW- wouls I be happy to have Kobe on the Bulls? Hell Yes. KILL to have him (ie make a bad trade or kill the cap for 10 years to get him)? Hell no. Know why? Then it'd be the same thing as the Lakers now... a team with no chance to win it all.
That's truth.
