Where can I find federal laws defining pyramid schemes or similar frauds?

I'm trying to see if I can find some legal definitions online or something like that. Most of what I see is just a subjective interpretation of the law online. Please help!

Might I suggest looking up various court cases where someone was convicted of a pyramid scheme offense, and seeing what laws the judge cites in his (or her) ruling that the convicted has broken?
