Sounds good to me.

Some sticklers would go for "You are both just getting started." but how you've phrased it has a much more conversational feel about it. It sounds like what a teacher would say to 2 students.

Technically, yes, but for form/clarity I would prefer "you both"

You are both just getting started.

(Just like I dislike the phrase "a hot cup of coffee" . In this phrase the adjective hot modifies the noun cup. So it sounds like you are asking for a hot cup with some coffee inside it.)

It looks like it.

Alternative:
You both are just getting started.

It doesn't sound right. Maybe it would be right if you say: The both of you are just getting started.
