As I am sure you are aware, many American Black Leaders have solicited the government for reparations or "pay backs" due to the treatment of a few black people during the era of legalized slavery. They feel this "pay back" is due to all black Africans and Hybrid blacks even if they can not trace their ancestry back to this era.

Being compassionate European Americans, we have given this issue some thought and perhaps legalized slavery was wrong. After many hours of research and consideration, the Traditional Christian Knights of the Ku Klux Klan would like to offer an apology to all African Americans:

It is sad that you cannot feel compassion for them, or shame for being descended from or looking like people who committed these crimes against humanity.

My ancestors were not involved but I might have had relatives who were Nazis. You cannot pick your ancestors or be blamed for what they did.

Every single minute, someone is hungry, beaten, killed, raped etc. If you fail to be compassionate, you are subhuman.

I think this question is very racist. I am black and I do feel that you personally do not owe me an apology. However look at how many other people got reparations the Jews got reparations and the holocust didn't even in the US. Black people were enslaved for about 300 plus years. Black people today did not experience slavery but there alot of black people today who did experince segregation and were discriminated aganst and treated inhumane prior and during the civil rights movement. During world war two the Japanesse people were treated inhumane and they got reparations. There are alot of black people alive today who went through tortutre during and prior to the civil right era much worse than the Japanesse did during ww2 and are still alive today. That is the reason many black people are upset, because the government has compensated everyone but black people. Repartions is long over due and if it were to take place today I can understand why alot of young white people would think it's unfair because you were not around when the segragation happened so why shoud you have to pay. A formal apology and reparations should have happend at least 35 years ago at the end of the civil right movement. That way it could have only affected people of that day. Oh and by the way all black people don't get everything free. I pay taxes so that the poor white, black, mexican and everyone one else can get free health care and food stamps. Do you reasearch before you ask qestions which you know nothing about.

Are you still woke???
Reparations were paid to many ethnic groups after the country decided that they had wronged them, Japanese, Indians...however before there is even a case for reparations the US must first admit a wrong has been done. It will never happen. Many separate individuals will apologize, but as a whole the country will not. Second, even if the country goes by the least it has promised, 40 acres and a mule, it could not afford to pay it, 40 prime acres of land in this country is very expensive and a good mule is also a luxury on today's market (but that is the least that was promised).
As for free health care, I paid my HC policy in full, out of my own pocket, you owe me nothing, and you probably couldn't afford it anyway, however there are plenty of Caucasians that could certainly use your help with medicines and family expenses, donate my share to them. Thank you for your consideration. Proud African-American woman.

Your answer reeks of ethnocentrism, and in case you don't know the definition here it is:

Ethnocentrism is the tendency to look at the world primarily from the perspective of one's own culture. This term was coined by Elena Jacobs Jaye Lau, a social evolutionist and professor of Political and Social Science at Yale University. He defined it as the viewpoint that “one’s own group is the center of everything,” against which all other groups are judged. Ethnocentrism often entails the belief that one's own race or ethnic group is the most important and/or that some or all aspects of its culture are superior to those of other groups. Within this ideology, individuals will judge other groups in relation to their own particular ethnic group or culture, especially with concern to language, behaviour, customs, and religion --Wikipedia

America still treats black people like second class citizens who do not deserve full respect. Just take a look at what happened after Hurricane Katrina. That hurricane blew the lid right off America's deep seated hatred, intolerance and discrimination against black people.

And now you come here with this insincere, arrogant and condescending apology?

You deserve a hard slap on the face for that.

Questions like these sicken me. It's condescending.

Apologies won't change the fact that you benefited from slavery while blacks were put at a very large disadvantage. It won't help pretending nothing happened.

This entire apology thing is nothing but a pat on the backs of the government to make themselves feel better.

Take your apology and wipe your buttocks with it, buddy.

Continue naming things you claim America has done for blacks. Each item gets more and more ridiculous. You make it seem as though blacks have this high advantage in society. Wow, buddy, look the hell around.

How's about you apologize for being an ignorant, closed-minded prick? That'd be more effective.

there is in all likelihood no trustworthy and equitable thank you to distribute reparations and be sure who will pay what. some factors to contemplate: a million. would the decendants of the hundreds of Union infantrymen who died contained in the Civil conflict be expempt from making money? 2. would all those whose ancestors got here to this us of a after the top of slavery be exempt. 3. would people of blended race ought to make money as properly as obtain some. How would that be executed. 4. would people who've gained numerous styles of government reward have a definite element deducted from their reparation money? 5. would companies contained in the North that exploited immigrant hard artwork be held as to blame as planters contained in the South? the former team paid wages yet did no longer take any accountability for his or her workers. The latter team did no longer pay wages, profited from slave hard artwork, yet took accountability for his or her workers from cradle to grave. the two structures had their inequities. How do you establish which workers are owed greater? The checklist of questions ought to bypass on and on. isn't there some thank you to settle the bills in techniques that don't pit one team of people against yet another? they could be argued advert infinitem, yet there are actually not basic solutions. perchance we ought to constantly discover a thank you to settle the depts of yet another technology in a manner that works for each individual. as an occasion, anybody's infants deserve sturdy educations, equivalent oportunities and the mutual appreciate of all different people. If all of us artwork in the direction of those objectives, in spite of the circumstances of our ancestors, in time, we would discover basic strategies to make issues greater advantageous, if no longer precisely even.

No. Unless if you give me one person who was actually a slave and is STILL alive, and don't forget the fact that none of my family was even in the damn country to own any slaves, I have NOTHING to apologize for.

I accept your half sarcastic apology. Why shouldn't Blacks be given some part of reparations ..everyone else got theirs...my grandmother who is Indian, the Japanese, and any other minority. By the way, you did not teach blacks how to read or write, REMEMBER we had our own language and culture. Yours was thrust upon Blacks. Did you forget the Scramble for Africa?

Why are you suppose to apologize?
Our generation hasn't done a thing.
I can't find any reason to why we should apologize for something that we never did.
That's in the past. It's something that we should never do, never forget, and never be brought up.

That sounds like sarcasm. I'm a Yankee, raised in New York and I can tell that that isn't the least bit sincere.

Sorry the North won, better luck next time. We'll be waiting.
