Al-Qaeda doesn't want them....they won't hold rifles and they keep trying to pass the suicide bomb vests off on others.
....not to mention the smell of libs in the Al-Qaeda training camps was reducing overall recruitment and the opium production kept disappearing...

(I can't help but notice that you seem to be implying that liberal "targets" are "recruited." Are "targets" synonymous with "recruits"?)
I think that liberals are so gullible because they support education and health care, which are two areas of society that al Qaeda openly supports. The terrorists appear to want improvements in the workplace, a liberal viewpoint to be sure.
But, to directly answer your question, after looking at bin Laden's latest roster, it appears as if there are roughly 2 million liberals recruited every year for a variety of purposes, ranging from gardeners and chaffeurs to bus drivers and interns.

P.S. It would be lovely if a neocon could draw some sort of distinct connection between liberalism and terrorism. I know you couldn't give us the connection between Iraq and al Qaeda, but surely you can give us some justification for your outrageous anti-progressive rants?

I don't know the exact number. I know they've recruited 51 senators, but I can't remember how many Democrat party members are in the House of Reps.
