Why can't high school students see their transcripts?

Out of curiosity, why am I not allowed to see my high school transcripts (I am currently in high school)?

Each state/district has different polices but,I would ask your board of educations law department.They may be able to send you a copy of what the policy is.

...did you ask the office if you could see your transcript maybe? Thats weird if you cant because everybody that I know can.

hmmm thats really weird, they prolly dont have them prepared or anything, ask the guidance counselor, they are the ones in control of it...
