I think the things happening in darfur are because of the government, religion, and men. I mean the government is becoming arabic and it wants to get rid of the africans. This is also part of the religion because some of the africans are christians or another religion that the arabs don't like. Then I said men because usually men are the ones who commit rape. I read somewhere that they rape young men and children and that horrible. A large number of the militias have AIDs and they are using rape to pass it on to the Africans. I think we aren't doing anything to help because there is hardly any coverage on it. I mean I happened to stumble across it online while looking for some news and I did a report on it last term. But I tried to search it and there really wasn't a lot of information about it. So maybe the world needs to know what's happening so something can be done to stop it.

Why are women always facing rape? Shouldn't we be doing more there?
Why are gay people facing beatings, and in some places, the equivalent of genocide? Shouldn't we be doing more there?
These are things happening on our own home turf.
Policing the world should be the job of the United Nations, and not any individual state. In fact, I think that sovereign countries should not be invaded unless they interfere with the rights of other countries. Sanctions and diplomatic pressure is justified, but unless a country invades another, their sovereignty should be respected.
It may be harsh, and what's going on may seem horrible, but policing other nations' civil actions is simply wrong. To justify invading a country because of the way they treat their people opens ourselves up to the same conditions if we go astray of the United Nations declaration of human rights, which, by the way, the United States has not adopted.

Jebus Crisis? Hmmm, that's cute, I guess. Well, Jebus, I'd like to first ask you, have you just picked up a newspaper for the first time in your life? Does the word "war" mean anything to you... how about "crusade," or "holocaust." or "genocide?" Any bells going off in the old coconut? If not, may I take this opportunity to heartily suggest that you enroll yourself in a serious class in world or human history, or perhaps the history of conflict. The world and society and human history didn't just start on March 15th.

The best thing to do is pray to God for these people. Prayer is always best. If we can do some other small thing like protest or send money that's nice too. I don't know why all of these white men on this forum here have so much hatred in thier hearts. But they have to meet God one day and be judged accordingly. And to be honest black people all around the world, and abused people all around the world need to stand up for themselves. Its a horrible situation, but one thing I do know is that faith in the Lord ALWAYS helps.

There is little we can do as a country when another country is having civil war. It is sort of like poking your nose in someone else's buisness.
