I live in New York City and I was wondering if I were (hypothetically of course) to be at a bar with a fake id and the cops bust the place and ask to see id, do they need a warrant? Can they arrest me if I refuse to show them anything?

If you were drinking in a bar, and you look underage, that is probable cause to ask for your ID. A warrant is only needed if they were going to search your living space or car but the bar is a place of business and the owner of the bar can let them come in and search. If you were just walking down the street doing no harm, sober as a nun, then no they can not randomly search you. They might ask for your ID but you don't have to give it to them in that case.

You have to show an I.D. at a bar. Cops don't need a warrant to I.D. someone. Warrants are to search a place or vehicle.

They don't even need reasonable suspicion

Assuming that they have probably cause that you are a minor, then yes, they have the right to ask you for ID. If you have a fake ID, then you can be arrested for its use.

Yeah they can. Besides that youre too young to be in a bar drinking even if someone buys you alcahol just because youre there. Stop trying to bullshit your way through life. And send me some money while youre at it.

Yes and yes. You are in a public place...drinking. They have an interest to make sure you are not underage...all they need is reasonable suspicion...not probable cause.
