By verifiable, I mean provable to other people?

For example, if I were to have a "religious experience inside my head" (note:no drugs involved), would I have to automatically question it by the rules of logic?

Jim,

That's right. Thought is not in our heads. Lesson for the future: Drink coffee before answering. Otherwise we say !@#$.

As my philosophy professor told us, "It's not fair to use logic when speaking of religion." Thus, not everything has to be verifiable.

If you 'have' this experience, then what more 'proof' do you need!
...

drugs/non drugs, chemical/ non chemical, brain cell/ plant cell (laughs) wouldn't matteranyhow.
and I agree with the sophist.

do not doubt the obvious, and especially the 'obvious' :)

and how more obvious can an event be if you yourself verify it by not only questioning, but also acknowledging that you 'have' indeed experienced (in any way or form)

a religious experience "inside your head" is the same with or without drugs: a sequence of chemicals fired. the drugs usually help release of chemicals to aid "spiritual visions." but really, its all in your head, literally. dont base your life of anything like that. base your life off actual thought.

Depends on your own personal universe and whether or not you want to follow the path of proven prose or expand your mind and embrace probabilities and possibilities... The latter is where I live...

You might question its meaning but you could assume it actually occurred.

No. Faith is needed first, but with faith, all truth follows.
