The Republican party is over-run with neo-cons such as Bush and Co.

Do you even know what neo-cons are?

Neo-con: (def) The prefix neo- refers to two ways in which neoconservatism was new. Many of the movement's founders, originally liberals, Democrats or from Socialist backgrounds, were new to conservatism.

These aren't the warm-fuzzy-idealists "let's take care of people" type, but the scary Stalin, NWO type.

I though you conservatives hated socialists...why have you let them take over? They obviously weren't getting what they wanted from the Dems--so you went ahead and got rid of our trash for us and gave them front row seats at the White House.

Look up the definition for neo-con if you don't believe me...socialism in it's nastiest form does look a lot like fascism.

Liberals go away...paying taxes, eh? I consider it an honor and a duty...I have a job too, ya know. If you are looking for fiscal conservatism you are in the wrong party...2000-06 was record-breaking spending...sure, there were tax cuts, but it was highly irresponsible w/ all the spending going on...go ahead pass the debt to your kids and grandkids, they'll love you for it!

Great...Austingirl discovered a dictionary. The problem with your argument is that the definition applies to Neo-Cons when "neoconservatism was new". Apparently you aren't familiar with the concept of Socialism. How come libs ***** about how GW only cares about the rich, and big business, but then spew crap about him being a socialist. Socialist calls for the redistribution of wealth!? What until you get out of college (or high school) and get into the real world. The dems have been hijacked by socialists. A purely dem run america would look alot like canada with the universal healthcare. Add that to all the handouts the dems love to give such as welfare etc. and you see who the real socialists are.

I will grant you that there are no true conservatives out there in the Republican party right now, but you shouldn't gloat my dear because your party right now compared to the democrats of 30-40 year ago are basically communist in comparison and as more Americans see them for what they are they will be rejected just like in the Soviet Union
