There is a place in Alma Arkansas that has a store called A to Z
it has everything that you could ever think of dirt cheap!
Some examples are makeup 25 cents, haircolor $2.00 , statues, foutains, etc. anywhere from 5+ dollars, gift bags, party supplies 40 cents (good ones) ...food (super cheap...lots of mexican stuff)
I even found rugs that run $400+ @ most places for $75 ...it's crazy!
Anyways, there are several vendors that shop there ~ so it might be just what you are looking for.

Craigslist will get you started. People give away free and cheap junk on there all the time.
Check out your local swap meets and pawn shops. You'd be surprised the jems you could find.

I personally think you need to reconsider opening a small business down in Mexico, when many "Mexican" citizens come to "OUR" country to spend their money especially during the Easter and Christmas holiday seasons.

Help your local economy first.

Good Luck in your new Business.

try wholesale lots on ebay-but watch out for shipping and handling charges! contact manufacturers directly and see if they will sell to your wholesale. sometimes you may need to register as a company.

Senor, my cousin Jalisco has a store in Mexico and he buys all his items from other retail stores. While he loses money on every sale, he makes it up in volume . . . muy bueno, no?

Oh, Mr. I_Eat_Paint_Chips . . . (it shows) . . . what we steal from you?
