Hey Everyone, im curious as to what the world thinks about this. Now that Iran has captured these British prisoners and refuses to return them, do you think a war can start over this? Or is Iran going to give them back without any more surprises?

Both sides with shoot their mouths off and beat their chests, then after some face saving compromise amicable to both sides they will let the prisoners go - safe and sound.

The hostages will be returned, after Iran finds a way to make it appear Britain expresses some sort of apology or regret. It is similar to the situation where the U.S. reconnaissance crew was released after their plane was forced to land in China back in 2000 or 2001; I forget the exact date.

I guess that Iran is going to give them back. It's a kind of showing off, prestige seeking behavior, done to humiliate the West.
Notice that this happened to the Brits after it was announced they were leaving Iraq. What will happen to the US if Congress manages to engineer a retreat plan?
