the Texas car drag lynching, the gay kid in Wyoming etc. Endless amounts of times I'm sure. Now here's a good one the killing of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom in Knoxville, Tn. Rape, mutilation of body parts. Household chemicals etc. - Coverage by the national media? Exactly ZERO. It has made me realize that the media has a vested interest in promoting a certain distorted vision of reality; the black as victim, the white as aggresor etc. This, despite the fact that FBI stats over and over show the most inter-racial crime is black on white. So what gives here? Please read the link for more information; http://www.wate.com/Global/story.asp?S=6023706

Thank you for keeping this story alive, Andy. I've posted this many times over at the 'Society and Culture' section and Yahoo either hides it from general view, or deletes it before it's even posted. I tried posting it twice so far this morning and both times it disappeared. Both times the questions i asked which referred to this crime were well within Yahoo's 'community guidelines'. Censorship of black on white crime is alive and well right here on Yahoo Answers!

Well, personally I am tired of hearing what Brittany Spears, or Nichole Ritchie are up to these days.
Now it is Nichole Smith.
Mississippi just brought a man, from the sixties,to stand accountable for the death of a black man, and it was a Canadian reporter who got the investigation going.

I hope you educate yourself concerning this country's history and treatment of minorities( including native Americans) and perhaps buy yourself a clue or some empathy. And what pray tell would the media hope to do with this "misinformation" ? Are you the only one with the clarity of vision to avoid the media "propaganda. Come on son it is what it is. But I know I cant sway your opinion just as you cant sway mine, the only difference is we as minorities have lived it. What have you experienced?

That's weird. I always thought media portray blacks as thugs. I'm sick of people complaining about media though. Everybodys now some kind of media patrol. 'Media' is pretty vast. It's not just one TV channel, one radio station, it is huge. I doubt you can make judgement on something like this vast.
