Would you rather grow up with Republican or Democratic family values?

These are political concepts that do not really transcend to family values. The question is flawed. If you wish to remedy it, define family values, and how they differ regarding political party.

Which Republican values?
Those of the wealthy Republicans who control policy or those of the working class Republicans who get tricked into voting Republican to their own detriment?

Republician have their nose in your bedroom, Democratic have their fingers in your wallet.
Since most people frown upon sleeping with vampire girls or punk/goth girls.
I gotta say I'd rather to have a democratic family value becuase at least I'll have my fingers in their wallet as well.

Neither, my own values.
Both are byproducts of popular opinion and polling, not actual parenting skills.
Case in point see Newt G. going after Clinton while he was having an affair.
Neither have real values, its a dog and pony show.
We need a new party, one that lives in reality.

How about Independent values? Do they count here? How about we get rid of the two parties and take away one less way of dividing people? I like that idea.

I would want my children to be exposed to both. For example, they should value the dignity and freedom of other people but also not feel guilty about pursuing their self-interest without infringing on the dignity and freedom of other people. I would hope that they would develop a fiercely independent mind that would enable them to choose.

Democrats let you do whatever you want, which seems like fun but it's bad for you. Republicans believe in discipline.
