Why is there so much hate towards gay people? The only thing we challenge is traditionalism, nothing more.
We eat the same foods you eat, we speak the same language you speak, we pay the same taxes you pay, etc., etc., etc.,
You don't understand what it's like to be US. We cannot control who we are attracted to. For us to act against our attractions would be for us to act against ourselves.
Humans are sexual beings. If we all just got laid once and a while (with whichever gender we so desire), then the world would be a better place.
Why can't we all just relax, make an effort to understand each other, and STOP hating each other?
All of us humans have been different. All of us ARE different. All of us will be different for the rest of eternity.
Why can't we accept the fact and admire the differences that make nature so beautiful rather than trying to fight to make it all the same?
Hating someone will NOT fix a damned thing.

Do not judge society by what you read here...most of the hate comes from one or two people with many different screen names to make themselve look like an army. Don't be fooled...it is very easy to get several screen names here at Yahoo. If you click on the hater's profile, you will find almost no points, a very new screen name by date, ... a dead giveaway that it is a clone name.

people are just bored i think. I am a married mother of two and i can tell you i will not bring my 2 boys up with the same views on gays that other people have, They will be taught the truth, It don't matter who has intercourse with who and accept people just the way they are no exceptions. That is what i feel i can do to try help the world become a less angry place.

I totally agree with you.
In my opinion one of the problems you also see in nature is that exeptions often are discriminated or being subordinated.
We are humans and humans should eliminate their animalfeelings (their prehistory feelings, sorry for the bad translation). Well, that is what I expect from other people. We are wise enough to suppress eventually negative feelings.
So, that makes it so bad, some people like to hate us. And that hurts...

I am a born again Christian. I have friends that are Lesbian and Gay. In fact one is a sister in law. I don't hate them. I play tennis with one occasionally. But they know I believe that homosexuality is not a decision or genetic, but a response.
One agrees with me.
I don't care about your sexual preference. I don't want to talk about it, just like you probably don't want to talk about mine.
I see myself equal and in the same position as a homosexual.
Heres A line in a song by DC TALK
"In the Light"
Whats going on inside of me.
I despise my own behavior.
It only serves to confirm my own suspicion,
That I'm still in need of a Savior.
Homosexual, straight, doesn't matter. We all need to be in the light.

As long as there are small minded, or hateful, or childish people sadly this will be around a long time.
What gets me are the people who profess to be religious and spew out hatred. Good post though.

I don't understand it. We are humans, there should be love, compassion, understanding. This world nowadays has been very evil, so we have to face it, one way or the other.

Hating is a wasted emotion. It only hurts the person hating. but they don't get it...and they'll continue to hate.
