When are you guys going to get it, twelth of never maybe, they protect your rights too. They guard the constitution aganst special interest groups.

Despite some of their off the wall and disgusting clients - this would not be a good idea. Your civil liberties are precious and irreplaceable once they are compromised.
Don't take my word for it - take Chief Justice Earl Warren's:

"The ACLU has stood foursquare against the reoccurring tides of hysteria that from time to time threaten freedoms everywhere...."

True, they cannot be banned. Their actions are protected by the first amendment. The same amendment that they are trying to destroy. The problem is, as with most special interest groups they try to force their agenda down the throats of Joe American and our politicians bow down to them.

Interesting..but you can't ban them.

As much as they may be despised they are neccesary.

I am an attorney and would never work for them..but for every voice we silence we move futher away from what this nation is all about. Then where do we stop?
