I am getting married in 3 months and I have brought up to my fiance that I might be interested in a prenup. I have read that because we don't have any assets to protect right now, it's pointless. My only objective is that I am a writer and a book that I have written may be published at the end of the year and has the potential to earn a lot of money. I would like protection if this was to occur! Would this make me a candidate for a post-nuptial agreement then? I am just afraid that he wouldn't sign once we are married. Any suggestions?

Well if you love him, why would you want to not give him things, even in the future. Are you saying you do not love him or think he run off later?
In either case or just for safety, nothing wrong with the pre or pos for both of you.
