search for "volume" in your computer to see if the volume controls are high enough or are not on mute.

1. check to make sure speakers are plugged in
2. make sure power is plugged in
3. make sure speakers work on different computer
4. make sure drivers are installed (if it is a store bought computer this will most likely be on the motherboard cd).
5. make sure speakers are enabled in windows sound panel

try to reinstall sound driver ..from mycomputer>properties>device manager ..
