my laptop is recieving a strong wireless signal, but can't get on internet. help.?

What's your setup??? What type of internet access do you have? Using a router??

1. pirated
2. cable
3. DSL

hmmm. check if it has WEP security. if not the access point probably doesnt have an active internet connection. i had the same problem
