i drive an 1994 chevy Cav. i drove it the other day when i was driving it, it was shaking alot more then it has ever shaked...When im going about 10 - 15 Mph it starts to wiggle or shimmy 16 - 45 its fine then once i hit 45 and Up it Starts to really vibrate I went up to 85 to see if it would stop the shaking if I was moving quicker. Im thinking the weight is out on the tire or tires if so how could I fix that. Would I be able to do it myself?

Get the tires balanced on a proper (electronic) balancer. That will fix it.

If you drive it that way for a long time, steering and suspension parts and tires will fail prematurely from the constant bouncing and vibration.

check that all the rims are clean , there is no snow , ice or mud on them , and have a look at the brakes, that nothing is caught on them .

Examine the rims for any dents , like from hitting a pothole or the curb.

examine the tire for any bulges and check the tire pressure.

Its not easy to balance a tire yourself, the best way is dynamically balance in a mchine that spins it at high speed.

You may be able to see where a wheel weight has come off the rim . There is normally a small dirty spot where it was.

A good tire place should balance them for maybe $5 per tire.

How outdated are your tires. I even have seen this situation many cases and we start up off with consumer-friendly stuff first. maximum uncomplicated is that a tire has developed a comfortable bulge close to the splendid of the sidewall or the belts have shifted. The tire tread will seem to have shift in one spot for approximately 6 to eight inches. in the experience that your steerage wheel is shaking, it's going to be tire on the front of the vehicle. no count if it isn't the tire, have somebody solid sufficient grab around the splendid of the tire and attempt to shimy the wheel. If it strikes freely, it rather is wheel bearings. If this no longer it, you will ought to pass to a keep that would seem added into it for you. you will no longer fix it your self. start up low value and artwork your way up. locate the undertaking in the previous throwing funds at it.

You may have a bad tire a belt may have shifted or broke inside take it to a shop and have them balance and inspect the tires.

Another thing is if a shock is going bad it will let the tire bounce easy but its most likely the tire.

You might need to have your tires balanced, or the treads may be low on your tires in which case you need new tires. I am no expert, but I had the same thing happen on my car and it was an issue with the tires being worn and/or unbalanced.
