I totally agree with you, however, I do think that even doing nothing is better than perpetrating some of the most detrimental actions ever seen from the US on the world stage. The Bush Admin has singlehandedly turned us into a laughing stock at best in the eyes of the rest of the world.
As a nation, we've worked hard to become respected as a successful, intelligent, strong, and compassionate entity. All lost in a few years!
Too bad voting any other way than red or blue is basically throwing vote away (as if they matter anyway)....
Also, thanks sincerely for your bravery. I hope we have a wise leader in place if and when you are called to service.

The Democratic Congress has had 3 months, the president has had 6 years. Three months is not nearly enough time to clean up 6 years of messes especially since we keep finding more messes. The Bush Administration has royally screwed up America for those people outside the top 1% of income earners, the Congress is at least trying to give America back to us.

They have been the majority for a full 2.5 months and you are already judging them a failure? They passed all the bills they promised to do - how can that be failure? They are also keeping faith with th people who elected them to do something about the disastrous war in Iraq and they are doing that too.

What are you looking for Congress to do? They can't make Bush and all the mistakes of the last 6 years disappear overnight. Nothing is going to get better until Bush is out of office, the most we can hope for is that they will be able to stop him from further ruining this Country.

Not at all, they are sending a strong message to George Bush that a majority of the people in they U.S. want the criminal and corrupt war to stop, that is what they were elected to do. That is what they are doing and all the neo-con attacks can not change that.

You are wearing chevrons that you never earned. You are a fraud, and you dishonor the American military men and women that have fought and died for your freedom to speak freely.
I'm talking about every man and woman that has fought in every war since the birth of our nation.
Have you no shame?

Yes, the minimum wage crap was just a red herring. No repealing hr 6166, Patriot Acts I and II, NSA spying, no Bush impeachment, working happily hand in hand with Bush, unlimited guest worker programs...nothing
